Cafeology are pleased to officially announce the appointment of a new National Account Manager.
Anna Fielding, who lives in Sheffield, joined the company after spending more than three years as a Supply Chain Analyst at the Co-operative Group’s Head Office in Manchester.
In her new role, Anna is responsible for the day-to-day running of two of Cafeology’s major National Accounts in the licensed trade. This involves visiting sites, providing refresher training for staff and creating new drinks recipes to ensure new and exciting flavours are available to customers all year-round.
Anna said: “The National Account Manager role with Cafeology is completely different to the work I was doing with the Co-op. I am now working from a reverse perspective. My role within the Co-op involved suppliers coming to see me to discuss development of the accounts and new product development. In my new role at Cafeology I am responsible for the development of my National Accounts and I am the supplier, I am really enjoying the challenge.
“I was seeking a career move that was a lot more varied and was not entirely office-based. My present role appealed to me because of the company’s ethical stance.
“Working for a company that contributes towards farmers in developing countries such as Colombia and Costa Rica, to get a better quality of life and fairer working conditions makes work seem a lot more worthwhile.”
Anna, who is a fully trained Barista said: “I have lots of freedom and have been given the tools to develop new ideas, I am looking forward to the future at Cafeology and how my role will develop within the company”.
I enjoy being involved with the day-to-day functions of the business and being closer and more informed as to the direction and the strategies the business is taking.
